Great work! Jay did exactly what he said he was going to do in the exact time frame and price quoted. Everything works exactly how he said it would. We had a tankless water installed and a bypass valve for instant hot water. We had faucets that wouldn't get hot for minutes and now seconds. Definitely would recommend. Only does water heaters. Last night I had a water heater leak. I texted Jay and other contractors through Yelp and he responded within minutes (awesome).  Much faster than any other. I sent him pictures of the water heater and explained the problem.  He gave an estimate on installing the same set up and set up a time for the next day. Today he gave me a courtesy call and confirmed his time. That's a big deal when a contractor shows up on time. I also have a circulation pump he estimates at $400. I saw it on Amazon for $150-225. I ended up paying the mark up.  But overall, Jay was very professional, efficient, clean install and was slightly lower in pricing compared to his competitors. I can't recommend Jay and The Water Heater Man highly enough. I called with a water heater that had stopped working, and rather than immediately scheduling a service call and charging me to come out, Jay took the time to talk through the problem with me over the phone. Based on what I described, he suspected the issue might actually be the electrical breaker rather than the water heater itself. He walked me through what to check and suggested having the breaker looked at before spending money on a water heater repair. He was exactly right. The breaker needed to be replaced, and the water heater is working perfectly again. Jay spent his time helping me diagnose the problem, saved me the cost of an unnecessary service call, and never charged me a dime. That kind of honesty and customer service is hard to find. He could have easily come out, charged me for a diagnosis, and told me the same thing. The Water Heater Man will absolutely be my first call for any water heater work I need in the future. Jay replaced a water heater for us a few years ago. He did an excellent job!! I don't really think there is anyone who knows more about water heaters than Jay! He does every job on his own so you don't have the issue of talking to one person but a different service person comes to do the work. He does every aspect!!! He pulls the permit. No hassle for you!! He installs each one and knows ALL  the codes. He is on time,  responsive to phone calls, answers questions with kindness. He is THE guy to go to for a fair price, quality work and backs up his work. Now, here's the real kicker!!!! I have moved and my water heater went out. I called Jay without hesitation. He was so honest, apologizing that he couldn't work on mine as it's in a mobile home and he wouldn't be able to install a new one on his own.  But, he went out of his way to help me find someone who would be able to help!!!!! He took all the info and pictures as if doing the job himself! He referred me to Signature Plumbing. They were great. But, the point is, who does that??!!! Takes time to help without asking or getting paid!!! He is a quiet gem of a person and an honest business man!!!!!! I ask AI...I was worried a pipe was broken..AI thought it was the water heater and checked the serial number ... the date it was 12/2002... so more than ready to be replaced.  AI said get three estimates.  I was so happy with the information Jay gave... me the price was less than I expected. He only installs Bradford White which is the make I wanted.  Also, like the idea of working with the owner... who I know will be there if there is a problem.  He gave us a Senior discount. Jay did not install a water heater for us but he saved me some money.  I appreciated his response and wanted to let others know. We have been experiencing issues with our water heater for weeks.  We shut the power off and then on again at the breaker, which solved the issue.  On Friday, we lost hot water again, flipped the breaker but this time it didn't help.  I called Jay first thing Monday morning, explained my issue and texted pics of the water heater as requested.  Within a few minutes, Jay called me back.  He suggested I contact AO Smith directly as the water heater is less than 2 years old and still under warranty.  I took his suggested, sat on hold, chatted with a rep who had me clean the filter (which wasn't dirty) and take ambient temperature readings.  Called AO Smith back, got a different rep who told me the plumbing was leaking (brand new build, no water puddles).  Ultimately, I reset the breaker and the mode on the heater and again have hot water. I DO NOT recommend an AO Smith hybrid water heater but I HIGHLY recommend Jay.  He was professional and helpful.  He spent time understanding my issue, offered suggestions to save me money and patiently explained potential solutions. Moved into my house in 2015, water heaters worked fine but were super insulated on outside.  Turns out that they were installed in 1987!!! (Which is probably why they were so insulated on outside Lol). So I guess I can't complain about getting another 8 years out of them before one went down on Monday and coincidentally the other on Wednesday (maybe a water pressure spike?). Anyways, I talked to Jay on Wednesday and had two new water heaters installed by Friday. These were two tough locations to work with too. This was suspicious and rightfully so, it was a scam! Beware of these. I called The Water Heater Man as my third call and he was out within about 24 hours and installed the new tank. I wasn't able to use this company to replace our hot water heater since they were booked, but Jay was so professional and helpful when I called so I feel obligated to share my experience. He didn't have availability to provide service same day which is very understandable. But he took the extra time to give advice on next steps to prevent further flooding damage from our broken water heater (turn off water & gas, drain out water with hose). He even offered to walk us through it over the phone. He then referred us to another company which we ended up going with. Our Bradford White water heater stopped heating water after 16 years.  We contacted several installers and decided to work with Jay because he was responsive and kept in good communication.  He showed up on time, even on a day that will surpass 103 degrees, was efficient, did really nice work, and left the work area clean.  Jay installed a new Bradford White water heater at the price he quoted without any extra add on charges. We needed to have the expansion tank on our water heater replaced due to a pinhole leak. I put out a request on Yelp and Jay responded within about 15 minutes. This review is late in coming but I couldn't let it go without reviewing Jay's wonderful service.  As can happen, my water heater went "out" over a weekend.  And not knowing who to contact, I looked up repairs in Roseville.  So glad I found Jay.  He contacted me the same day and made a quick visit Sunday morning and determined that a replacement was necessary. By Monday morning all new installation was complete. Our water heater was having issues a year ago, I called Jay...he was very responsive and asked me to send pictures and describe the issue. He was able to come by and inspect it right away and said it should be replaced soon. I decided to wait, and this week it started leaking, Jay came by again to inspect it and it was fully corroded. We replaced it with a tankless heater and it is wonderful, unlimited hot water and more efficient. Jay is very service oriented and a great communicator, we're really happy with the end result. This nice gentleman was able to get to me immediately.  We talked on the phone. I was unsure of what I needed and he was kind and patient listening to me.  In the end I didn't realize he only did water heaters .. and I didn't need that. But, he took the time to listen to my plight and helped the best he could.  To me this is so much more important than just rushing me and acted as if I were a bother.  So, if thinking about going with him... do!!! He's a good person and I'm sure does quality work. I had a great experience with this company. Yesterday afternoon (Saturday around 5pm) I came out to my garage flooding. Water was rushing out of my 50 gallon water heater and I didn't know how to shut it off. I searched emergency plumbers and The Water Heater Man came up. I called Jay and he FaceTimed me immediately and helped me turn it off with instructions on how to hook up a hose and drain it overnight. Amazing service!! Walked out to take the kids to school and discovered water all over the garage, the water heater failed. Called this morning for a quote.  Jay picked up, gave me some great information over the phone and set up a time to come and give me an estimate.  He arrived a few hours later and walked me through the whole process of getting a tankless system.  He is very personable and knowledgeable.  He suggested I look into a water softener system before spending the money on a tankless system, (we have a well and hard water). Jay explained that if we don't have a treatment for our water then the tankless system would most likely experience problems.  I appreciate the honest advice and his candor. Found Jay through some initial research and then via Yelp.  Heard back from him the next morning after reaching out late the previous day.  I wasn't in a big rush but I know my Water Heater had minimal time left.  When Jay got back to me, we scheduled a call and discussed a direct replacement tank type water heater or a demand type water heater and Jay confirmed my understanding of the positives and negatives of each.  I decided to go with the tank type since the one we had gave us great service and our needs were well suited to the tank type of water heater - also Jay was able to provide the same brand that we had before.  He gave me an estimate that was very competitive (less than others I had received) and he really sounded like he knew what he was doing - especially since his focus was on water heater repair/replacement only.  Jay scheduled me in and texted me 15 minutes before he arrived.  He got the job done efficiently, and even though he had to install a new supply valve, he did it pretty quickly.  The install looks great and I'm really looking forward to my next shower where the water will be hot for the entire shower! If you're looking to go tankless, he's definitely your guy, especially for larger units. First some quick background - we have been fully quarantined with a high risk person living with us (age & immune system compromised due to chemotherapy).  So, when we came out to water leaking all over our garage, we were very worried about how we were going to take care of it safely.  I called up Jay based on the positive Yelp reviews, and he completely understood our situation and immediately put us at ease.  He was able to give us a competitive estimate on a new water heater install based on pictures of our setup, performed excellent quality work at the agreed-upon price, and most importantly for us in this current crazy situation - was able to handle everything completely contact-free! Our pilot light was broken on our water heater and I found Jay based on his yelp reviews. He responded to my call right away and took the time to hear what was wrong and talked about some options. He is an honest and friendly business owner and does all of the work himself. With Covid concerns he had me send pictures so he could do some research and work on his end before coming to my home. I was able to order parts from my warranty and once they arrived I called Jay. He was at my home with in and hour and half as he had promised. Two nights ago, when our boys were getting ready to shower, my wife said, "Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you that we don't have hot water." I tried to start it, which I know how to do, but no go. Yesterday morning, she called a few  people after reading some reviews on Nextdoor and here. We decided on Jay because he's a member of the community where we live, and we like to support local businesses. Bonus when he said that he would be able to install one the same day. When he showed up, on time, he insisted on trying to get the (only 5 years old) heater to work. No go. We had already agreed to replace the heater, so he brought one with him. Two hours later, done.
